Designer April Johnson has a healthy background in fashion, and it shows. She has worked as a stylist and as the Accessories Editor at Vogue, and then launched her women's line, Alasdair (named for her son)  in 2012. She has an affinity for black, neutrals and deep jewel tones, luxurious fabrics such as silk, velvet and gauze and focuses on fluid, feminine silhouettes that flatter many different body types.
