Christian Wijnants is a Belgian clothing designer who is known for his feminine, sculptural shapes, bold prints and his knits, ESPECIALLY his knits. His creative interpretation of knitwear won him the International Woolmark Prize in 2013. Leading up to this honor, he studied fashion design at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp, and his specialty in knitwear earned him a job working for Dries Van Noten upon his graduation in 2000. He launched his own label in 2003.
