The Vankar Pleat Jacket from Kartik Research is cut from a handloom wool and linen blend in blue. The borders are hand embroidered by artisans in Kutch specializing in a Rabari technique, using a fine ecru cotton thread that contrasts against the base fabric. Finished with a Riri zip closure and small horn button detailing. The jacket has a pleat in the back, inspired by the spinners in Kutch and the stress on their clothes at the back seam.
