CELEBRATING THE RETURN OF SAVEUR IN PRINT
Join SAVEUR — the newly independent, legacy food media publication — as EIC/CEO Kat Craddock pops up at Frances May x Colibri (521 SW 10th Ave.,Portland, OR) on Wednesday, April 24th from 5 to 8 pm, in conjunction with Portland’s West End Wednesdays.
The evening will celebrate the return of print, including signed copies of the new issue alongside small bites from Euzumeh — Chef Tamara Hatta’s Jordanian food pop-up found at Cafe Olli and the Portland Farmers Market— and complimentary drinks. Plus, sweet treats like a custom frozen custard by Cornet Custard, and special Cotton Candy flowers from Colibri, in celebration of the launch.
Fresh off SAVEUR’s first print run in over four years, the event offers copies of the newly-released issue 202, featuring a variety of articles including: a cover story featuring Lebanese cook Olga Bacha, with other stories ranging from artichokes and baijiu cocktails to Japanese artisans and eating on the moon. With most copies now sold out throughout the USA, this will be a rare last chance to pick up a copy of this historic issue.
“We’re so excited to showcase our new print magazine in Portland, after our launches in NYC & Charleston over the last month. Portland has an incredible food and hospitality scene that I’ve always respected, and I’m excited to celebrate with some of that amazing talent on the 24th,” says Craddock.
